Mining the first coin

Greetings,
How can I mine the first coin needed for account creation ?

Found my way through the miner and daemon.
However I start mining on my 8 cores and task manager shows me that townforged is using only 15% of my CPU...
why ? is there some throttling ?

If you mine from within the game, it uses only one core, since the game itself uses a fair bit of resources.
If you want to mine with more than one core, you'll have to do that from townforged, eg:
start_mining TF1YOURADDRESS N
And replace N with the number of cores you want to mine with.
Keep in mind it's a testnet and hash rate is low, you don't need to mine with many cores to get some starting gold.
